World & Flags Hema (Pacific) Classic 1410 x 990mm Supermap Laminated with Hang Rails

The World & Flags (Pacific Centred) Supermap laminated map by Hema is an extremely detailed political map. It uses an attractive combination of muted pastels to allow for easy country identification and rich blues to show the ocean depths. The flags of the world are shown along the top and bottom of the map.

The map is Pacific-centred, which is a great way of viewing the world if you are from the Asia Pacific region. It gives an excellent perspective on where the rest of the World is relative to us.

The map is printed on high-quality 120 gsm matte coated paper, using fade-resistant pigment-based ink from Hewlett-Packard, it is then encapsulated between two sheets of 80-micron gloss laminate.

The high-quality laminate in which the map is encapsulated allows you to draw on or apply map dots to locations of interest without permanently marking the map. The lamination also makes the map very durable, protecting against tears and stains and acting as a UV filter.

The easiest way to hang your map is by having wooden hang rollers attached to the top and bottom with a hanging cord on the top roller, so all you have to do is put a hook in the wall. The hang rails come lacquered in a natural timber colour.

This is an excellent world map suitable for the home, office or classroom.
